Like many local chapters of national organizations, the group had been relying on an out-of-the-box website interface provided by National. The interface was clunky, uninspiring and hard to use.

I helped the org decide on a new sitemap and information architecture, based on their three pillars of events, youth engagement and airplane builds (yes, building airplanes). From there, I wrote new copy that captured the friendliness, passion and dedication of the group’s core members.

The result is a website that’s welcoming, easy to use and fun to peruse. It sets the chapter apart from others and provides a welcoming front door for seasoned veterans and new faces alike.
